  • 4-20mA & 0-5 V outputs available
  • Available with or without gauges
  • OEM versions available

High Pressure Differential Pressure Transmitters

An Orange Research differential pressure transmitter handles working pressures to 5,000 psi. Machined from solid blocks of metal, the transmitter pressure bodies protect sensitive, repeatable sensors within a rugged, protective housing. A magnetic sensor relays slight changes in pressure to the electronics, which amplify and linearize the signal. Changes in filter, level or flow conditions can be monitored remotely.

Differential Pressure Transmitter(s) Voltage or Current Output

One differential pressure transmitter unit can be wired for either voltage or current output. Two wire for loop power (4-20mA) use offers more flexibility…there is no need to bring a separate power line to the unit. Installation time and costs are reduced. For voltage outputs (0-5 volt) 3 or 4-wire use is required.

Differential Pressure Transmitter(s) with Local Indication

A differential pressure transmitter from Orange Research can be configured with or without dials. Many times an easy-to-read gauge is a separate instrument to be specified. Our differential pressure transmitters have a gauge option which facilitates local and remote monitoring! Up to 6-inch dials are available, which can be read from over 75 feet away.

Wide Selection of Differential Pressure Transmitter Products

Built for industrial applications, these DP transmitter products offer a weatherproof enclosure to protect the electronics with Class 1, Div 1 or Div 2, NEMA 4X & IP 65 ratings.

Note

Differential Pressure Transmitters

Our instrument sensors include a magnet that moves with the sensor as the pressure or flow conditions change. Our transmitters incorporate a Hall effect sensor that transforms that movement into an electrical output. As the conditions change and the sensor moves into proximity to the Hall effect sensor there is a change in output from the Hall effect sensor that is proportionate to the differential pressure reading.

Every differential pressure transmitter is capable of providing a current and voltage output. The user simply selects the output they require. Temperature compensation ensures that the output of the DP transmitter does not drift.

Each differential pressure transmitter can be installed as a two-wire current (loop powered) or as a three- or four-wire voltage connection. The safety ratings of the switch enclosures also apply to each DP transmitter.
