Miniature Differential Pressure

These mini differential pressure (dp) instruments come in different forms. We supply indicators, switches, and transmitters, with some combined together. They are smaller than the standard line and have less features to allow us to offer a lower cost dp instrument. This makes them popular for OEM applications.

The bodies are made from solid blocks of aluminum. We offer 1 inch indicators with red/ and green dials. The red indicates an alarm condition. We also have 2.5 inch dials with fully numbered scales.

The switches have three versions, normally open, normally closed, and single pole double throw.

Indicator or switch versions have 5% accuracy while the transmitters have 10% accuracy. They handle high line pressure, 3,000psi for liquid models and 1,000 psi for gas models.

Our piston sensor model 1002 is for liquid applications. The diaphragm sensor model 1020 is best for gas or for low dp measurements. The diaphragm model is also popular for measuring the liquid level of cryogenic tanks.

They often measure the pressure drop for filters, heat exchangers and similar other process component.

Below you will find indicators with or without switches. You will also see transmitter versions, which may or may not have a dial to serve as local indicators.

Miniature DP Transmitters

These miniature dp transmitters have a 4-20mA output, with the option of a dial.

The accuracy is 10%, with 2% repeatability, and the enclosure is IP65, Nema 4X rated. They contain a DIN 43650 connector, and the mating DIN connector is included.

1 inch or 2.5 inch dials are an option. Multiple wetted parts are available.
